Concern over drug shortages remains a topic of concern nationwide. In this educational activity, expert faculty Angela L. Bingham and Phil Ayers will review strategies for ensuring safe and effective therapy for adult and pediatric patients when parenteral nutrition (PN) components are in short supply. They’ll cover current and upcoming guidelines on optimizing PN therapy for adult and pediatric patients and review clinical cases that illustrate best practices in PN therapy, including lipid injectable emulsion dosing.

Join us Monday, Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT, for the Midday Symposium Optimizing Patient Safety: Guidance for the Safe Use of Parenteral Nutrition in Adult and Pediatric Patients, held in room 155, 100 Level, Anaheim Convention Center North. Earn 1.5 hours of CE credit.

The Midday Symposium will also be broadcast as a live webinar for CE credit. If you have colleagues at home who are interested in this topic, encourage them to register for the webinar.

This activity is provided by ASHP and supported by an educational grant from Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC.
