Michelle Jones Joins ASHP as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Human Resources

ASHP announced today that Michelle Jones has joined the organization as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Human Resources. Jones will oversee the Office of Human Resources and long-range human resource strategic planning on behalf of the organization, which has been recognized as a top workplace.

Jones comes to ASHP with nearly 15 years of experience as a senior human resources executive, most recently serving as Chief Human Capital Officer at Pact, an international, nonprofit development organization working in nearly 40 countries. She previously held leadership roles at Humentum and Envision EMI.

In her new role at ASHP, Jones will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruiting top talent, retention practices, employee relations, and professional development, as well as lead efforts to ensure a diverse and inclusive workplace environment and organizational culture.

Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from James Madison University and a Masters in Education from George Mason University. She holds a Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management as well as Strategic Human Resources, Women’s Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, and HR Transformation certificates from Cornell University.
