Nursing Organization Selects ASHP VP as Sole Pharmacist on Commission
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board of Directors recently appointed Janet A. Silvester, Pharm.D., M.B.A., FASHP, Vice President, ASHP Accreditation Services Office, to its Commission on Accreditation (COA) for nursing residency training.
Dr. Silvester is the only pharmacist among the 11 new appointees and was selected to represent the constituency of pharmacy and share her expertise with pharmacy residency programs. Her three-year term is set to begin in January 2019.
