ASHP is pleased to announce its partnership with End Drug Shortages Alliance (EDSA) to lead the recruitment of an executive director who will oversee the alliance’s mission of ending drug shortages.
EDSA is dedicated to solving drug supply challenges by working to increase transparency, quality manufacturing, and the production of additional supplies of medications. Since its launch in December 2021, EDSA has grown to a nonprofit organization of 84 member organizations with more than 255 active participants that include healthcare providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, group purchasing organizations, and others.
EDSA has partnered with ASHP, a founding member of EDSA and advisory board member, to recruit and employ the executive director and provide related support services as the organizations join forces to further promote the EDSA’s board-directed strategies, operations, and programs.
