The federal COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) declaration expired May 11, 2023, but COVID-19 continues to be top of mind for the healthcare community — including the pharmacists who have been integral to the fight against COVID-19.

Join us Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT, for the Midday Symposium COVID-19 Now and Beyond: Where Do We Go From Here?, held in room 157, 100 Level, Anaheim Convention Center North. Earn 1.5 hours of CE credit.

The symposium will update attendees on the pharmacist’s role in COVID-19 prevention and treatment strategies, including the potential implications of the PHE expiration on coverage and access to vaccines, therapies, and tests. Our expert faculty will also summarize prevention and management strategies for COVID-19 in special patient populations. The activity will conclude with a review of new and emerging therapies for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

The Midday Symposium will also be broadcast as a live webinar for CE credit. If you have colleagues at home who are interested in this topic, encourage them to register for the webinar.

This activity is provided by ASHP and supported by educational grant from AstraZeneca.
